  • Trevante Nemour Rhodes was born in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to Demour Dangelo and Jessi Rhodes.
  • When he was ten, his family moved to Little Elm, Texas, where he grew up with his older brother, Giovanni.
  • While attending Little Elm High School, Rhoades played as a running back in the offensive option, playing with Cole Beasley at quarterback. He also played as a left cornerback, playing with Beasley at right cornerback.
  • Throughout high school, he earned four honors each in football and track and field, specializing as a sprinter in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
  • During her junior year, Rhoades placed second in both the 100m and 200m at the 2007 UIL Track and Field Championships at Mike Myers Stadium, finishing behind Whitney Prevost.
  • Despite suffering an ACL injury on the football field during his senior year, Rhoades received a scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin track and field program, where he studied kinesiology.
