Upcoming Asia Cup Editions and Host Countries Until 2031: India to Host Next in 2025

Six teams will participate in the upcoming Asian Cup. The five full members of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka – automatically qualify for the tournament. They will be joined by the United Arab Emirates, who secured their spot by winning the 2024 ACC Men’s Super Cup. It promises to be an exciting match with a well-balanced combination of Asia’s top cricket teams vying for the prestigious title in the next edition of the tournament.

Format

The Asian Cup competition will follow a familiar format, with six teams divided into two groups of three. After the group stage, the top two teams in each group will advance to the Super Four stage and compete in a single round-robin format. The two best performing teams at this stage will face off in the final to determine the Asian Cup champion. This structure ensures a balanced competition ahead of the title fight.
