2024 Olympic Medal Count: The final 13 gold medals of the 2024 Paris Olympics will be awarded before the Closing Ceremony on Sunday evening, August 11.

The day’s competition kicked off with the women’s marathon, with Hellen Obiri of Kenya and Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands the clear contenders for the gold medal.

At the National Velodrome, three track cycling finals will be held, with stars such as Harry Lavreson, Lotte Kopecky and Emma Finucane vying for Olympic glory.

The women’s basketball final will pit host France against the United States on Sunday afternoon, with the men’s basketball final set for Saturday night also on Sunday afternoon. The Americans will also face Italy for the women’s volleyball gold medal. Other major matchups include Serbia against Croatia in the men’s water polo final and Germany against Denmark in the men’s handball final.
