Para canoeing will begin on September 6, while the Blind Football Championship will conclude on September 7 with bronze and gold medal competitions. Which countries lead in total medals?
As of September 6, China topped the medal table with 72 gold medals and a total of 164 medals. Britain and the United States ranked second and third with 35 and 27 medals respectively. The Netherlands and France also performed well, winning 21 and 17 gold medals respectively.
List of Indian athletes who have won medals so far in the Paris 2024 Paralympics?
For the first time in the history of Indian athletics, Dharambir won the gold medal and Panav Soorma won the silver medal in the men’s club throw F51 category. Dharambir also set a new Asian record with an amazing score of 34.92 meters. The full list is as follows:

Armless archer Sheetal Devi briefly set a world record in the ranking event before finishing second. She later teamed up with Rakesh Kumar to set another world record in the mixed team qualification event. At just 17 years old, Sheetal made history by becoming India’s youngest Paralympic medallist, winning bronze in the mixed team event along with Rakesh.
