The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games are drawing to a close, with athletes giving it their all in the final days before the Closing Ceremony on September 8. The action will intensify on September 6 and 7, with medals awarded in 13 sports over the two days.

Para canoeing will begin on September 6, while the Blind Football Championship will conclude on September 7 with bronze and gold medal competitions. Iconic venues will set the stage for these spectacular performances, with Roland Garros hosting the wheelchair tennis medal competitions and the Palace of Versailles hosting the Para equestrian freestyle and team finals.

Which countries lead in total medals?

As of September 6, China topped the medal table with 72 gold medals and a total of 164 medals. Britain and the United States ranked second and third with 35 and 27 medals respectively. The Netherlands and France also performed well, winning 21 and 17 gold medals respectively.
