The world’s top tennis players are preparing for the 2024 US Open in Queens, where Novak Djokovic will defend his title. Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek lead the seeded field, which will begin on Monday, August 26 and run for two weeks until September 8. The singles first-round draw was announced at noon on Thursday, August 22, and the men’s doubles draw is scheduled to be announced at the same time on Sunday, August 25.

2024 US Open Men’s Singles Draw
In the men’s singles draw, top seeds Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic are drawn on opposite sides. No. 3 seed Carlos Alcaraz, an Olympic silver medalist who won both the French Open and Wimbledon earlier this year, is drawn in the top half of the draw with Sinner. Meanwhile, No. 4 seed and 2020 Tokyo Tennis Championships champion Alexander Zverev is drawn in the bottom half with Djokovic. Here are the full draws for August 26 and 27, 2024:

2024 US Open Men’s Doubles Draw
The 2024 US Open men’s doubles draw will be announced on August 25, and an updated data sheet will be published as soon as the information is released.
2020 runner-up Alexander Zverev and 2022 runner-up Kasper Ruud both reached the third quarterfinal, but only one can advance to the semifinals this year. Zverev will begin his campaign in New York against Emil Ruusuvuori. He has previously performed strongly on North American hard courts, reaching the quarterfinals in Montreal and the semifinals in Cincinnati, ultimately losing to Jannik Sinner in a third-set tiebreak.
