Veer Baal Diwas 2024: History, Theme, and Celebrations

The festival of Veer Bal Diwas dates back to December 26, 1705, when both young Sahibzada were detained by the Mughal troops led by Wazir Khan. Aged nine and six respectively, they faced intense pressure to renounce their faith and convert to Islam; however, the two children refused to compromise on their beliefs. Their unyielding stance led to their brutal executions. They were bricked to death as punishment for their defiance. This powerful act of martyrdom is a reminder of the sacrifices made in the name of faith and justice.
