About Vijay Dewas

On December 3, the Indo-Pak war broke out in 1971 and lasted for 13 days. The war officially ended on December 16, when Pakistan surrendered to India. Thirteen days of war resulted in the complete surrender of the Pakistani army and the formation of Bangladesh. The Pakistani army surrendered to India with approximately 93,000 soldiers. It was “the greatest victory ever” and India emerged as a regional power to be reckoned with.
