X-Men
The X-Men film series is a collection of superhero films based on the Marvel superhero team of the same name, produced by 20th Century Fox, and began with “X-Men” released in 2000 and ended with “New Mutants” released in 2020.
The thirteen-film series follows the adventures of mutants (individuals born with superhuman abilities) as they strive to coexist with humans and protect a world that fears and hates them.
The first three X-Men films, directed by Bryan Singer, established the franchise’s core characters, including Professor Charles Xavier, Wolverine and Magneto, and introduced themes of prejudice and discrimination. The success of these films spawned a series of sequels, prequels and spin-offs, including a solo Wolverine film and a Deadpool movie.
Over the years, the X-Men film series has been a critical and commercial success, becoming one of the highest-grossing film franchises of all time, with worldwide box office revenue exceeding $6 billion. Films such as X-Men: Days of Future Past and Logan have been critically acclaimed for their storytelling and performances.
