Where to Find Clay Grounded? How to Get It?

Where can I find grounding clay?

When playing Grounded, gathering resources is crucial to survive in the vast grassy open world. However, knowing where to find these resources can be a challenging task, especially if you are unfamiliar with your surroundings. Luckily, clay is a great material for making things like ovens, and you can get it without venturing into the unknown. To collect clay, you will need a shovel, which can be crafted from other materials.

Once obtained, clay can be used for a variety of purposes, such as building clay ramps, crafting repair tools, and crafting weapon wall mounts. With clay, you have the resources you need to thrive in the game.

Grounded clay location

Stump Yard Station

One of the best places to find clay in Grounded is near Stump Field Station. Heading west from the station, past the tree stump, you will see a large pool of water to the southwest of the tree stump. This puddle contains some clay sediments.

Pond Lab Around the central Pond Lab outpost, there are a number of small clay deposits. One is located east of the main entrance, while larger deposits are located west of the pond laboratory system terminal and south of the nearby underwater circuit breaker.

Northern Prairie and Picnic Table Field Station

On the west side of the map, you’ll find clay deposits in the water south of the North Prairie Field Station and east of the Picnic Table Field Station.

Smog Laboratory

Starting from the northern grassland, follow the path south to the Smog Laboratory. To the west you’ll find another small puddle containing clay deposits, as well as exposed pipes and garden lights.

Can cutting site station

To get plenty of clay, head to the northeastern edge of the large body of water west of Ant Head Cave. There are multiple clay deposits in the area, mainly clustered around smaller waterholes on the southeast edge of the Chop Can field station.

How do you ground clay?

Getting clay in “grounding” is a relatively simple process. Here’s how to get clay:

Clay found near water: Clay can be found near any body of water in the game. Look for its reddish color, which is different from other materials.

Craft a Shovel: To collect clay, you’ll need a shovel. Craft a shovel using the following resources:

An Acorn Shell: Acorn Shells can be obtained by visiting the large oak tree in the northern part of the map. Look for an acorn at the base of the tree and smash it with a hammer to get an acorn shell.

Two Twigs: Twigs are common plants found throughout the map. Interact with them to collect two twigs.

Double braided fiber: a craft braided fiber that combines three plant fibers. Collect plant fiber by cutting down grass or interacting with small plants. Bring the collected plant fibers to the Field Station and use the Resource Analyzer to unlock the Weaving Fiber recipe.

Collect Clay: After crafting the shovel, approach a lump of clay and use the shovel to crush it. Collect the resulting clay tablets.

By following these steps, you will be able to efficiently collect clay in Grounded and use it for various crafting purposes in the game.
