Where can I find the winter jacket in Children of the Forest?

Surviving the harsh winters in Children of the Forest requires careful preparation, and finding a winter jacket is a crucial step in ensuring your character stays warm during the coldest months. Here is a simple guide to finding a winter jacket:

Winter Jackets Location:

  • Campground on the West Side: Head to the west side of the island and you’ll find a campground.
  • Close to a spectacular waterfall: Look for a campsite that is close to a spectacular waterfall so it is easier to identify the location.
  • Tent by the small lake: The winter jacket is placed in the tent just north of the small lake on the west side of the island.
  • Bright Red Tents: The tents are bright red, making them easy to spot, ensuring you’ll be able to spot the campsite when you’re nearby.
  • Specific tents by the waterfall: As you face the waterfall, focus on the tent on the right; this is the tent with the winter jackets.

The process of finding a winter jacket is relatively simple compared to other items in the game. By following these clear steps, you will be well-equipped to face the challenges of winter, ensuring a higher probability of survival in Children of the Forest.

Children of the Forest Game

In Children of the Forest, players take on the role of a character stranded on a cannibal island, which is reminiscent of its predecessor, The Forest. Survival is the main goal, and players can craft weapons and buildings to improve their chances of survival. Notably, Children of the Forest introduces new gameplay mechanics, such as 3D printing, and includes friendly non-player characters (NPCs).

Among the NPCs, Kelvin is a deaf-mute companion. Players can interact with Kelvin by providing written commands on paper, instructing him to perform tasks such as gathering resources or starting a fire. Another character, Virginia, is a unique three-legged, three-armed woman who can be armed to assist in combat.

The game’s map is four times larger than its predecessor, providing players with a vast and varied environment to explore. Children of the Forest is suitable for both cooperative and single-player games, with support for up to eight-player multiplayer. The ending of the story depends on the player’s actions, providing a dynamic experience with multiple endings.

With its new features and cooperative elements, Children of the Forest offers an engaging survival adventure in a mysterious and challenging environment. Children of the Jungle Synopsis

Children of the Jungle is set several years after The Jungle, where a private military group hired by PuffCorp searches for Edward Pfighton and his family on the mysterious “Site 2” island. After surviving a helicopter crash, contractor Jack Holt and his deaf-mute teammate Kelvin navigate the wilderness, confront mutant cannibals, and discover PuffCorp’s hidden plans. The island contains ancient artifacts and gold ore, which PuffCorp covets in its secret competition with Sahara Therapeutics.

As the contractor explores the PuffCorp facility, it becomes clear that Edward and the executives have mutated into cannibals, and the true nature of the Cube, an artifact capable of interdimensional travel, becomes apparent. The contractor meets Virginia, a mutant who has retained her sanity, and LeBlanc from “The Forest,” revealing that the upcoming activation of the Cube will cause mass mutations.

On the way to the cube, they encounter ferocious mutants and reach the artifact, which gives them a vision of a futuristic city. After the cube is activated, two endings appear: one in which the contractor stays on the island, and another in which he leaves with LeBlanc, depending on the player’s decisions in a fierce final encounter.
