Love Island All Star Development
Love Island All Stars was created to replace the winter series of Love Island in 2024. After two seasons aired in one year, ITV decided to cancel the winter series and launch an “All Stars” version. ITV officially announced Love Island: All Stars in September 2023. The show is filmed at the same Franschhoek villa in South Africa as the ninth season and features contestants from the past ten seasons.

This is the first time the show will feature only returning contestants. A trailer for Love Island: All Stars begins airing in December 2023, with host Jama appearing in a dimly lit set obscured by red curtains. The series premieres on 15 January 2024, with the first episode being broadcast simultaneously on ITV1 and ITV2 for the first time.
