Bold Aries Would Have A Double-Bladed Lightsaber Like Darth Maul’s
Darth Maul’s Double-Bladed Lightsaber Was Groundbreaking

Darth Maul has wielded many lightsabers in Star Wars, including the iconic Mandalorian Darksaber, but his very first lightsaber in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace is undoubtedly his most memorable. Specifically, Maul was Star Wars’ brand-new Sith in The Phantom Menace, and that came with the franchise’s brand-new lightsaber type: a double-bladed red lightsaber. This truly was groundbreaking at the time, as, so far, all that had been seen were single-bladed red, blue, and green lightsabers in the original trilogy.
This lightsaber design is absolutely perfect for the bold, passionate Aries. In fact, as a fire sign, Aries’ double-bladed lightsabers should perhaps even retain Maul’s red color, in keeping with the ambition and passion of any Sith Lord. Even for an Aries who isn’t on the dark side of the Force, though, this exciting, inventive design is the ideal choice.
Lightsaber Blaster Hybrids Fit The Stubborn Taurus Perfectly
Ezra Bridger’s Lightsaber Blaster Is One Of Star Wars’ Best

Ezra Bridger has been a brilliant addition to the Star Wars franchise. After being introduced in animation in Star Wars Rebels, Ezra returned to the Star Wars screen, this time in live-action, in Ahsoka. Ezra is a truly unique character, with a spunky attitude but pure heart. His first lightsaber, a lightsaber-blaster hybrid, perfectly fit with that personality. In fact, although he eventually adopted a more traditional lightsaber, this lightsaber-blaster was perfectly representative of his more headstrong nature and habit of going his own way.
Based on this, the lightsaber-blaster design is perfect for a Taurus. Like Ezra, this Zodiac sign is known for being fiercely independent and, yes, a bit stubborn. Therefore, this unique design, which defies not only the typical Jedi lightsaber design but also the general Jedi sentiments against the use of blasters, truly fits a Taurus’ personality.
Playful Geminis Would Wield A Lightwhip
Vernestra Rwoh’s Lightwhip Is One Of The Most Unique Designs In Star Wars

Although it was only briefly seen in The Acolyte, Vernestra Rwoh’s purple lightwhip remains one of the most unique lightsaber designs in Star Wars. In fact, outside of Mace Windu’s, it is one of very few purple lightsabers; however, what makes this saber truly stand out is its whip design. As the name suggests, this lightsaber swaps the traditional Jedi blade for a flexible whip that extends an incredible length. Sadly, this lightsaber hasn’t been shown in true battle yet, and it may never be given The Acolyte’s cancelation. However, this lightsaber remains an incredible weapon in Star Wars.
This unique, even slightly playful design proves that the lightwhip is the ideal lightsaber design for Geminis. Geminis are known for being outgoing, funny, friendly, and fun-loving. Of course, the lightwhip, like any lightsaber, is a serious weapon that must also function well in battle. However, not only does the lightwhip accomplish that, but also, it takes a much more creative approach to the Jedi weapon—making it perfect for a Gemini.
Protective Cancers Would Have Lightsaber Pikes
The Temple Guards’ Lightsabers Are Ideal For Cancers

Although yellow lightsabers might now most strongly be associated with Rey, who revealed a brand-new yellow saber at the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, she is far from the first Jedi to have a yellow saber. Rather, yellow lightsabers have now been shown throughout the timeline. In addition to Asajj Ventress surprisingly using a yellow lightsaber in Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 and multiple Jedi wielding yellow lightsabers in The Acolyte, the Jedi Temple Guards were known to wield yellow lightsaber pikes.
These weapons are therefore absolutely perfect for Cancers. In fact, it is the design of the saber in particular, rather than just the color, that makes these sabers perfect for this sign. These sabers, shaped like staffs or spears, are made to protect. Just as the Jedi Temple guards were charged with protecting the Jedi Order, Cancer is the Zodiac sign best known for protecting oneself and others. After all, this is in part why the Cancer sign is symbolized by a hard-shelled crab. This lightsaber pike would therefore be an ideal weapon for a Cancer.
Fiery Leos Would Use Crossguard Lightsabers
Kylo Ren’s Crossguard Lightsaber Is Perfect For Any Leo
The sequel trilogy may still be highly controversial in the Star Wars franchise, but Kylo Ren was generally well-liked, and many found his crossguard lightsaber design compelling. In part, this is because the design was new to the Star Wars screen. However, this design is also absolutely brilliant for the character. Not only is the crossguard itself a visually cool update to the standard lightsaber design, but also, the chaotic, crackling red blade is perfectly representative of Kylo Ren’s unpredictable, temperamental nature.
All aspects of this design are therefore an excellent fit for a Leo.
All aspects of this design are therefore an excellent fit for a Leo. Like Aries, Leo is a fire sign, but this fire sign in particular is known for its short temper, intense passion, and slight (or perhaps more than slight) ego. Just like Kylo Ren, Leos would undoubtedly be perfectly suited to this unstable but powerful blade. In fact, Kylo Ren’s blade took on that appearance because he accidentally cracked his kyber crystal while bleeding it; surely, Leos can relate to losing control in a moment of anger.
The Iconic Single-Bladed Lightsaber Is Perfect For Virgos
Virgos, More Than Any Other Sign, Would Appreciate The Classic Design

Arguably the single most iconic lightsaber in all of Star Wars is Anakin Skywalker’s blue single-bladed saber, which played a prominent role in all three trilogies. This was the first lightsaber Luke Skywalker wielded in the franchise, and the prequel trilogy went on to reveal its incredible history with Luke’s father, Anakin. The lightsaber then reappeared in the sequel trilogy and was used by Rey, Finn, and Ben Solo at different points. Unsurprisingly, because this saber dates back to A New Hope, it has essentially become the standard for lightsabers in the franchise.
Because this single-bladed lightsaber design is a true classic, it is best suited to a Virgo. Virgos are well-known for being organized, reliable, and logical. They would understand and appreciate the dependability and legacy of this design, and they would fit in well with the incredible Jedi who have wielded such a saber, from Luke Skywalker to Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The Balanced Libra Would Have Dual Lightsabers
Just Like Ahsoka Tano, Libras Would Wield Two Lightsabers At Once

While double-bladed lightsabers have become increasingly popular since Darth Maul brought them to the Star Wars screen, the use of two lightsabers at once has also become more common in the franchise. Of course, while she isn’t the only character who wields two lightsabers, Ahsoka Tano is perhaps the character best known for her dual lightsabers. Ahsoka has used two lightsabers since her time in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and she continues to wield two, including in her most recent appearance in Ahsoka.
Just as Ahsoka herself arguably does, dual lightsabers in Star Wars can represent balance in the Force, making them absolutely perfect for a Libra. Libra is a Zodiac sign known for its dedication to harmony, equality, and balance. They are therefore the perfect Zodiac fit for a dual lightsaber design. Moreover, because of their natures, Libras would undoubtedly excel at wielding two lightsabers at once, which is no small feat, despite how fluid and easy Ahsoka makes it look.
Secretive Scorpios Would Use A Dagger Saber Similar To Qimir’s
This Unique Lightsaber Is Ideal For A Scorpio’s Nature

The Acolyte is confirmed to not be returning for a second season, which means Star Wars audiences may not see Qimir/the Stranger on-screen again. However, appreciation for his incredible lightsaber design remains, and, no matter the future of the character and the show, Qimir’s lightsaber will remain one of the most iconic in Star Wars. In the brutal Acolyte episode 5 battle with Jecki Lon, in which Qimir killed her, he revealed that his main lightsaber blade had a smaller dagger blade concealed within it. It was with this surprise second blade that he was able to defeat Jecki.
The secretive nature of this lightsaber design makes it the best fit for a Scorpio.
The secretive nature of this lightsaber design makes it the best fit for a Scorpio. Scorpios are well known for their mysteriousness and secrecy, as the scorpion symbol that represents the sign suggests. This dagger blade would therefore fit perfectly with the nature of a Scorpio and give them an incredible advantage in battle, as Qimir so clearly demonstrated in The Acolyte.
Adventurous Sagittarians Would Love The Inquisitors’ Spinning Saber
This Bold Design Suits A Sagittarius Perfectly

The Imperial Inquisitors have been a terrifying but wonderful addition to Star Wars, and they have now been shown multiple times in both animation and live-action. One staple of this intimidating group is their spinning double-bladed red lightsabers, which make them especially threatening in battle. In fact, these sabers are in part reminiscent of General Grievous’ spin attack with four lightsabers in the prequel trilogy, although the Inquisitors’ sabers are much more refined.
Sagittarius is the final fire sign of the three, and while this sign is also known for being bold and passionate, as all fire signs are, they are especially known for their adventurous spirit. This makes Sagittarians the perfect Zodiac fit for the Inquisitors’ spinning saber. While that certainly doesn’t have to mean that every Sagittarius is on the dark side of the Force, it does mean that Sagittarians would excel at wielding such a unique, no doubt difficult-to-use blade.
The Lightsaber Cane Is Perfect For Disciplined Capricorns
Tera Sinube’s Lightsaber Matches The Nature Of A Capricorn

One of the most creative lightsaber designs has only been shown on-screen in The Clone Wars during a very brief arc, but that doesn’t make the design any less important or exciting. Specifically, in The Clone Wars, an older Jedi named Tera Sinube helps Ahsoka track down and recover her stolen lightsaber and, on their journey, he reveals that his walking cane really conceals his lightsaber. Although Ahsoka spent much of this arc doubting Tera Sinube’s abilities because of his age, this moment proved that he was so much more than what he seemed.
This nature of Tera Sinube’s lightsaber cane makes it perfect for Capricorns. The Capricorn Zodiac sign is known for hard work, dedication, and discipline. Clearly, as Tera Sinube indicated in this Clone Wars arc, he possessed each of these traits, and his unique lightsaber design was a physical representation of that. Moreover, Capricorns, like this incredible Jedi Master, are often much more than they initially seem.
Innovative Aquarians Fit The Umbrella Saber
The Incredible Lightsaber Parasol Is One-Of-A-Kind

Although Star Wars: Visions isn’t one of the most watched Star Wars TV shows, likely in part because it isn’t canon, the show put forth some of the most incredible lightsaber designs in the whole franchise. Arguably the most innovative and exciting lightsaber design in Visions is the lightsaber parasol, which, as its name suggests, is a lightsaber in the shape of an umbrella. This lightsaber truly takes the spinning Inquisitor lightsaber to an entirely new level, and seeing it used in battle is a thrill.
The features of this lightsaber parasol therefore make it the ideal lightsaber design for Aquarians. Aquarius is a Zodiac sign known for creativity and innovation, making this sign a clear fit for the lightsaber parasol. Moreover, Aquarians are often viewed as eccentric and unpredictable, which are certainly descriptions befitting the lightsaber parasol in Visions as well.
Peaceful Pisces Would Use A Shoto Saber Like Master Yoda’s
Both Yoda And Ahsoka Have Wielded Shoto Sabers
Shoto sabers have been shown multiple times in Star Wars, including as one of the two lightsabers Ahsoka Tano uses; her other dual lightsaber was a standard size. However, easily the most prominent shoto saber in Star Wars is Master Yoda’s green shoto saber, which was on display throughout the prequel trilogy, although especially in his fight with Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. For Yoda, this lightsaber was presumably about size; shotos are essentially smaller lightsabers, which would make sense given Yoda’s stature.
However, the shoto saber is also one that comes across as less aggressive and domineering, making it the perfect lightsaber design for a Pisces. Pisces is a Zodiac sign best known for peace, empathy, and intuition. The nature of Pisces is therefore perfectly suited to a shoto saber, both in terms of its physical design and its meaning in the franchise. Indeed, each of the 12 Zodiac signs has a perfect lightsaber design in Star Wars based on the unique traits of each.
