Kevin Patrick Hayes, born on May 8, 1992, is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hayes is from the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston and began his ice hockey career at Noble and Greenough schools.

He entered the NHL in 2010 when the Chicago Blackhawks selected him in the first round (24th overall) of the NHL draft. Hayes chose to postpone his career and play college ball, playing for the Boston College Eagles for four seasons.

His outstanding performance in his senior year earned him many honors, including being named to the All-Hockey East First Team and AHCA East First Team All-American honors. Hayes has played for several NHL teams including the New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets and Philadelphia Flyers, and currently plays for the St. Louis Blues as a center and right wing.
