Who will replace Will Ferrell as the voice actor of the supervillain?
Fans were surprised to learn that Will Ferrell will not be reprising his role as Megamind in the upcoming sequel and spinoff series premiering on Peacock. Instead, voice actor Keith Ferguson will take over the blue-haired character.
Ferguson is known for his excellent impersonation skills, having previously played characters with similar voices to A-list celebrities in series spinoffs. While his imitation of Ferrell’s unique voice is commendable, Megamind fans were quick to notice the change.
Notably absent were original cast members Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt, with Laura Post taking over the role of the supervillain’s love interest.
