Tim Waltz has been selected as Kamala Harris’ running mate on August 6, 2024. Kamala Harris chose Tim Waltz as her running mate for the White House this time.

This man was shortlisted along with other Democratic figures. These figures include Pete Buttigieg, Roy Cooper, Josh Shapiro, Andy Beshear, etc. As far as Ms. Harris’s journey is concerned, this woman’s goal is to become the first female president of the United States. Who is Tim Waltz?

In 2006, a 60-year-old U.S. National Guard veteran was elected to a Republican district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He served for 12 years before being elected governor of Minnesota in 2018.

Mr. Waltz has proposed a progressive agenda that includes free school meals and goals to address issues like climate change. He has also proposed tax cuts for the middle class and paid leave for Minnesota workers.
