About John Schneider
John Schneider (born April 8, 1960) is an American actor and singer, best known for his role as Beauregard “Beau” Duke in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard famous for this iconic role. Snyder, whose career spans from 1977 to the present, also plays Jonathan Kent on “Smallville” and James “Jim” Cryer on “The Haves and the Have Nots.” He has been active in the entertainment industry since he was 17 years old.
In addition to acting, Schneider has pursued a successful singing career since the early 1980s, releasing nine studio albums and numerous country-style singles. Some of his famous songs, including “I’ve Been Around Enough to Know” and “Country Girls,” have topped the Billboard Country Singles chart.
