Granblue Fantasy: The Animation is a Japanese animated television series based on the Granblue Fantasy video game. The first season was produced by A-1 Pictures and aired from April to June 2017. Subsequently, the second season was produced by MAPPA and aired from October to December 2019. The series tells the story of Gran, who aspires to become an air traveler like his father and meets characters such as Lillia. The series unfolds in a world full of floating islands and mysterious skies.
