Sasaki to Pepsi is a Japanese light novel series written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. The fantasy comedy and isekai series began as a web novel on Kakuyomu and Shōsetsuka ni Narō in December 2018, and was later published by Media Factory’s MF Bunko J publishing house in January 2021. The series will be released in eight volumes in January 2024, and the story revolves around middle-aged office worker Sasaki and Pepsi, a powerful wizard from another world, who embark on a magical adventure.

The manga adaptation, illustrated by Pureji Osho, began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace Plus online magazine in January 2021, with three volumes published as of August 2023. Both the light novel and manga are licensed in English by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation, produced by Silver Link and directed by Mirai Minato, premiered in January 2024. The anime is currently airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, SUN, BS NTV, and KBS Kyoto, with Crunchyroll holding the licensing rights. Four episodes have been released so far.
Will there be a second season of Sasaki and Pepsi?
As of late January 2024, Sasaki to Pepsi Season 2 has not been officially announced. Season 1 premiered on January 5, 2024 and is currently ongoing, and a decision on a second season may be made based on its performance and audience response. Sasaki to Pepsi is an isekai fantasy comedy anime based on a web novel series, adapted from light novels, and has a total of 8 volumes. Sasaki and Peeps Synopsis
Sasaki is a tired and unfulfilled office worker who is looking for companionship in his drab corporate life. One day, he makes an impromptu visit to a pet store and accidentally picks a cute little bird as his new roommate. To his surprise, the bird, named Peeps, turns out to be a powerful saint from another world.

Peeps grants Sasaki supernatural powers and the ability to travel through worlds. Longing for a quiet and comfortable life, Sasaki wants to use his newfound abilities to live a simple life. The series gradually unfolds as Sasaki tackles the challenges and adventures that come with unexpected encounters with the magical world and its inhabitants.
Sasaki and the Thief Season 2 Release Date
As of now, there is no official release date for Sasaki and Peeps Season 2. The first season of the anime is currently airing and started on January 5, 2024. The status of Season 2 is still uncertain, pending the evaluation of Season 1’s performance and audience reception.
