It is based on a comic book series called Image Comics produced by Kirkman, Corey Walker, and Ryan Ottley. The show tells the story of 17-year-old Mark Grayson who becomes a superhero with the help of his father, Omni-Man. His father is the strongest superhero in the world. Mark struggles to balance his normal life with being a hero, and he must prove that he can be as good a hero as his father.

The main cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh and JK Simmons who play the Grayson family. Other actors play different characters from time to time. When the show was released, critics loved its animation, action scenes, and story. Amazon decided to produce more seasons before the first one ended. They agreed to produce seasons two and three in April 2021. Season 2 begins on November 3, 2023. Amazon released a prequel special called “Invincible: Atomic Eve” on July 21, 2023.

When will Invincible Season 3 be released?
