The theme of World No Tobacco Day 2024 is “Protecting Children from the Tobacco Industry”, which aims to protect future generations and ensure that tobacco consumption continues to decrease.

The 2024 World No Tobacco Day hashtag is #TobaccoExposed. This year’s event aims to provide a platform for young people around the world to urge governments to protect them from predatory tobacco marketing tactics. The tobacco industry is targeting young people to make a lifetime of profits, unleashing a new wave of addiction. In all regions, children use e-cigarettes at a higher rate than adults, with an estimated 37 million 13-15 year olds using tobacco worldwide.
