WPL 2025: Start Date, Venue and Format
The 2025 Women’s Premier League will become the third edition of the Women’s Premier League, which is the Women’s Series Twenty Week Cricket League organized by the Council for Cricket Control in India (BCCI).
The game will start on February 14, 2025 and will be until March 15, 2025, with 5 teams.
Women’s Premier League 2025: Teams and Teams
The 2025 Women’s Premier League consists of 5 teams: Delhi Capital, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challenger Bangalore and UP Warriorz. Each team has up to 18 players, including 6 overseas recruits.

The 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be held in four venues in India: Bangalore, Lucknow, Mumbai and Vadodara.
The Chinnaswamy M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore has a capacity of 40,000 and will host eight games. The Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow is the largest of the four venues, with a capacity of 50,100 spectators. It will host 4 games.
In Mumbai, the historic Brabourne Stadium has as many as 33,000 fans and will host four games, two of which will be semi-finals and finals. Meanwhile, the kotambi stadium (45,000) in Vadodara will host 6 games.

2025 Women’s Premier League: Format
WPL 2025 will play five teams in a double round rotation format, each facing other teams twice in the game of himself and escape. At the end of the league phase, the top three teams will advance based on their total points.
Teams that complete the match at the top of the desktop will get a direct position in the finals. Meanwhile, the second and third-place teams will compete in the Elimination Contest, with the winner winning a place in the final.
