(b) BEL As part of strengthening India’s indigenous defense capabilities, the Ministry of Defense has signed a capital acquisition contract worth Rs 2,906 crore with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) of Ghaziabad in search of low-level transportable radar (LLTR) ‘Ashwini’ Ashwini. The radar was designed and developed locally by DRDO’s Electronics and Radar Development Agency (LRDE).
