The latest update for Among Us was announced as part of the Nintendo Direct 2024 announcement held on June 18, 2024, and it introduces a number of new characters for players to try. These characters will be released with the update v2024.6.18, which will be released on June 18, 2024.

The characters are fairly straightforward to understand. Here is a list of each character and what they do in Among Us.
- Tracker – Trackers can monitor crewmates via the mini-map, pinpointing specific players and their locations.
- Noisemakers – Noisemakers are the Imposter’s worst enemy, as their death will alert the entire crew, raising suspicion that they were killed.
- Phantom – Phantom is an imposter character that essentially makes a character invisible for a short period of time, allowing them to kill someone and then escape without being detected by normal means.
These are the characters coming to Among Us in the next update. There will be more updates coming this year, so get ready for more news from the Among Us developers in 2024.
