Apex Legends is a popular free-to-play battle royale hero shooter developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The game was first released on February 4, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. Later, it was released for Nintendo Switch in March 2021, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in March 2022. In May 2022, the mobile version of the game “Apex Legends Mobile” was also released for Android and iOS. The game features pre-designed character “Legends”, each with unique abilities that players can choose before playing. Players form teams of two or three and enter one of two game modes. In Battle Royale, up to 20 teams of three or 30 teams of two are airdropped onto an island, where they must scavenge for weapons and supplies while trying to eliminate all other players. The playing area on the island shrinks over time, and players must keep moving to stay within the safe zone or risk being eliminated. The last team standing wins. In another game mode, “Arena,” players form a team of three and compete with another team in a 3v3 team deathmatch. The team that wins at least 3 rounds and leads by 2 points will be declared the winner. One of the unique aspects of Apex Legends is its cross-platform play, allowing players on different platforms to compete against each other, in addition to the mobile version of the game. This makes the game even more popular among players as it allows friends on different platforms to play together.

Apex Legends Season 15 Gun Tier List

S level list

1. R-301 – The R-301 is an assault rifle that is a good choice for most players. Its recoil handling is one of the simplest in the game, delivering massive damage at all ranges. The weapon shines from first ring to last, and paired with the Anvil Receiver, provides even more versatility to an already great weapon.

2. CAR – The CAR is a submachine gun that deals excellent damage in short and medium range encounters. Once you master the recoil pattern, you can knock down enemies in no time. The versatility of being able to switch between heavy and light ammunition cannot be underestimated. If you have the chance, make this weapon as it has the best performance of an SMG.

3. Assault Rifle – The Assault Rifle is an excellent weapon for medium to long range engagements. Its beam is unlike any other in the game, and you can knock down enemies with just a few well-placed hits. A submachine rifle can put tremendous pressure on enemies trying to push or spin.

4. Wingman – The Wingman is the pistol of choice for most encounters. This gun is satisfying to use and best of all, it can deal massive damage with its cranial attachment. It’s very effective in short- and medium-range encounters, but falls off slightly in long-range encounters. The wingman’s close range accuracy is very strong.

Tier list

1. Flatline – The Flatline is a great assault rifle that does decent damage at most ranges. Using the Anvil Receiver, you can put a lot of pressure on the enemy team and prevent them from advancing. We recommend getting some good optics on this gun, as iron sights can be frustrating to use. Even with the recent nerfs, this gun remains firmly in the A-tier.

2. Volt – The Volt is an excellent submachine gun that deals very little recoil in terms of damage. While it’s not as powerful as CAR, it can come into its own in short-range encounters when you need it. Volt is best used at short to medium range, as damage tends to decrease at greater distances.

3. Peacekeeper – The Peacekeeper is an excellent shotgun that can deal massive damage in close combat. Although it is slower than the EVA-8, it can still be used effectively to peer into corners and observe enemies. With accuracy and a bit of luck, this weapon is difficult to counter.

4. R-99 – The R-99 is a solid choice for a submachine gun, capable of dealing massive damage in close and mid-range combat. Recoil is fairly easy to get used to and is improved with the laser sight attachment. At long range it will do decent damage, but better than an assault rifle.

5. 30-30 Repeating Rifle – The 30-30 Repeating Rifle is an amazing marksman rifle that shines in mid to long range combat. This weapon will punish enemies who are not in cover and provide your team with an opportunity to advance. Equipped with a cranial piercer, this weapon can cause severe damage.

6. EVA-8 – The EVA-8 shotgun features a double-click trigger that turns a good weapon into a great weapon. You can instantly knock down enemies in close to mid-range encounters. However, the lack of range means the damage diminishes after a certain distance.

7. Mastiff – Mastiffs can deal massive damage at close range. While its recoil may take some getting used to, once you’re familiar with it, this weapon can take down enemies quickly. Few guns can deal damage as quickly as the Mastiff.

8. Sentinel – The Sentinel is an excellent sniper rifle for long-range combat. While its iron sights are decent, you need to hit the target as the reload time can be long. Recent changes to shield units mean you only need one to supercharge a Sentinel, making it even more effective.

Class B list

1. Hemlok – The Hemlok is a repeating-shot assault rifle that can be switched to single-shot mode. While the Hemlock may not be the most powerful assault rifle in the game, it is a good choice for mid-range engagements. However, its effectiveness decreases at short and long distances. Single-shot mode can do reasonable damage at long range, but there are better options for assault rifles in the game.

2. Triple Take – The Triple Take is a marksman weapon that can be fired in a scattering or suffocating manner. Spreading out is useful in mid-range engagements, but since concentrated fire takes time, you may struggle to do significant damage. Spread damage is also pretty poor compared to other weapons in the game.

3. G7-Scout – The G7-Scout is a great shooter’s weapon, especially when equipped with the double-click trigger attachment. This attachment enables the weapon to deal massive damage at all ranges, and the improved recoil makes it easier to hit targets. However, the G7-Scout has been removed from floor loot, making it harder to use in the game.

4. Alternator – The Alternator is a pretty good submachine gun and is most effective at close range. However, the low rate of fire and small magazine make it somewhat lacking compared to other submachine guns in the game. While there are better options for submachine guns, they can still perform well at mid to close range.

5. PDW – The PDW is also a good burst weapon, although it doesn’t perform well at long range. Up close, it certainly packs a punch. When used on full auto, it does impressive damage, but becomes difficult to handle due to the recoil.

6. Longbow DMR – The Longbow DMR is a great weapon at medium to long range, but terrible at close range. As a sniper, this weapon deals good damage and provides a higher rate of fire than other snipers. This is a great option for taking out enemies in open areas.

7. Spitfire – In most cases, Spitfire is a good choice. The long magazine really makes up for this gun’s lack of range. You can provide good support cover for your team, but beyond close range the weapon performs below average and lacks impact.

C-level list

1. Havoc – The Havoc can be a good gun, but it will struggle without the turbocharger attachment. Delayed rallying can cause you to lose an easily winnable battle. Having the turbocharger does make this weapon worth buying, but without it the Havoc sucks.

2. Devotion – The Devotion is another weapon that requires a turbocharger attachment to reach its full potential. Delaying the start of shooting can cause you to lose a battle, but with the turbo this gun is awesome and can deal the highest burst damage in the game. However, since there is no guarantee of finding a turbocharger in the game, dedication is usually not the first choice.

3. Mozambique – The Mozambique is a decent shotgun, but it does below average damage. Without the hammer tip attachment, this weapon is a poor choice. It may be okay to escape certain situations at close range, but there are better options.

4. L-Star – The L-Star is a weapon that many players avoid. It has poor recoil, low damage, and limited range. The L-Star’s performance lags well behind most other weapons in the game, and is generally not a good choice unless you have no other choice.

5. P2020 – The P2020 is a pistol that deals low damage and has poor range. Even with the attachments, the gun is not significantly improved. The P2020 is not a popular choice among players and is often overshadowed by other weapons.
