love at first sight production
The production of Married at First Sight 2023 involves relationship experts matching three to five couples who agree to get married upon their first meeting. In previous seasons, experts have included clinical psychologist Dr. Joseph Silona, sexologist Dr. Logan Lefkoff, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and humanist pastor Greg Epstein Stan.
Guests in subsequent seasons have included Schwartz, pastor and marriage counselor Calvin Robertson, communications expert Rachel DiAlto (replaced by Dr. Jessica Griffin), and Dr. Viviana Coles, among others expert. After spending their wedding night and honeymoon in a hotel, the couple lived together as married couples for eight weeks.
At the end of this period, they must decide whether to continue the marriage or divorce. The show originally aired on FYI but later moved to Lifetime and spawned spin-offs such as Married at First Sight: Honeymoon Island and Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After in subsequent seasons.
