Cult of the Lamb Unholy Alliance Introduces Local Co-op this August

Cult of the Lamb has never let down their fans and they have always been consistent in bringing content to the game. By consistent, I mean they have been providing the content that fans want and more. On August 12, Cult of the Lamb will be adding local co-op to the game with a major update called “Alliance of Evil”.

What’s new in the Unholy Alliance update for Order of the Lamb?

Lamb Worship Local Co-op

First of all, League of Evil sounds like a DLC, but it is actually a free update. Local co-op was a lot of requests from the community, and fans got what they wanted. The developers worked really hard to integrate this feature into the game, and they deserve all the praise for it.

Some may have requested online play, but that’s still undecided. If you want to play with friends online, you can still do so through the remote play feature. While the main focus of the League of Evil update is local co-op, there are several new features added to the game.

The League of Evil update introduces a new character – the Goat. It stands to reason that now with local co-op, one person will be in charge of the Goat while the other becomes the Sheep. This brings a different feel and perspective to all the exciting features in the game since you are adding another player to the game.

The major update also adds builds, followers, quests, tarot cards, relics, powers, and more to the game. If you want to play this game with friends, you can check out our Cult of the Lamb review to see how the game is played.

League of Evil will be released for free on August 12, 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

If you haven’t played the game since 2022, you might want to refresh your memory once or twice. You can check out Cult of the Lamb’s previous Sins of the Flesh updates to get up to speed.
