Dancing On Ice Season 16 will mark a major change to its hosting line-up following Phillip Schofield’s departure from ITV in May 2023. Schofield, who had presented the show since its inception, resigned after admitting to a relationship with a younger male ITV staff member. The announcement not only led to his departure from This Morning, it also meant he would no longer be a part of Dancing On Ice.

To fill the vacancy left by Scofield, Stephen Mulhern, who previously served as stand-in host on Season 4, was named as his successor.
