After he starts running towards her, she kicks him off a ledge into the alligator-infested waters below.

Lockwood’s death occurs when the albino alligator eats him at the bottom of Gatorville. The remains of its body are not shown, but the blood-soaked water surrounding the alligator during the attack makes it quite evident that it does not survive.
