Gran Turismo 7 1.43 Update Patch Notes

Gran Turismo 7 fans can look forward to an exciting update this week, the game’s creator Kazunori has confirmed. While the identities of the new cars have yet to be revealed, a teaser trailer suggests they will include the Renault 4, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and Audi TT.

Typically, updates introduce around three to five cars, with the previous January update bringing out the Bulgari Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo, Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept and the 2018 Suzuki Jimny XC.

In the upcoming 1.43 update, the Renault 4 will make its Gran Turismo debut, while the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and Audi TT will make their triumphant return from GT6. What can we expect from Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.43?

In addition to the much-anticipated new cars, there will be a ton of exciting features coming to Gran Turismo 7 with the upcoming 1.43 update. Players can look forward to the addition of a new World Tour and a GT Café menu, which will enhance the single-player campaign experience.

“Virtual car photographers will have new Scape locations at their disposal, which provide picturesque environments for capturing stunning in-game images. This update aims to diversify the gameplay with these new additions, while catering to both racing enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts within the Gran Turismo community.”

Fans of the racing simulation game are hopeful that the new track will be introduced in update 1.43, which will continue the momentum of the Lake Louise snow track that was previously added in Spec II.

While the prospect of original tracks is always enticing, some players have expressed a desire for classic tracks from past games, such as Apricot Hill, Midfield Raceway, and Autumn Ring, to be added. The community is eagerly awaiting these updates, expecting Gran Turismo 7 to deliver a more comprehensive and engaging racing experience.

Gran Turismo 7 Gameplay

Gran Turismo 7 brings back the single-player campaign, called GT Simulation Mode, offering familiar features such as traditional tracks, cars, special events, championships, driving schools, aftermarket parts shops, used car dealerships, GT cars, GT Sport Mode, Brand Center and Discovery (now called Showcase). Players unlock multiplayer games, tracks and cars by completing missions in GT Café.

The game reintroduces dynamic time of day and weather effects, last seen in Gran Turismo 5 and 6. Although Gran Turismo 7 has a single-player mode, it requires a constant internet connection to save progress to prevent hacking. Arcade mode is entirely playable offline.

In the PlayStation 5 version, the game takes full advantage of the console’s capabilities, taking advantage of advanced features such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, real-time ray tracing effects, 3D spatial audio, and reduced loading times. It runs at 4K resolution, 60 frames per second, and supports high dynamic range. In addition, drivers from the Gran Turismo e-sports competition Gran Turismo World Series will appear as AI opponents and driving test coaches.
