Tracker Ettrick is the final boss in Operation Forgotten, and the final mission in Sterile Lands. You can start the Operation in a private or public match, and it’s best to play with other players to make it easier.
Eterllick is a typical boss that will shoot at you, summon minions, and fire laser beams. None of Eterllick’s attacks are difficult unless you are severely underleveled. He has three life bars that you must break, and every time you break a life bar, he will spawn some destructible orbs above it. These orbs make Eterllick immune to damage, so you must break all three orbs before you can shoot at the boss again.
The most confusing mechanic about Eterllick is the random blue shield that pops up. Eterllick can’t take damage if you shoot through the shield, and sometimes it seems like you’re doing something, but you’re not.
Around the blue shield, there are three small shields or emblems around Eterllick. You need to shoot down these small shields in order to break the blue barrier. These small shields do not break like the destructible orbs, so you can focus on one of them and hope to break the blue shield as quickly as possible.
Some players just fire at the shields, and sometimes they’ll see the blue shields crack little by little. However, they may have accidentally hit those small shields. Remember, if the damage shows “immune”, you’re not doing it right. When you hit the small shields, the damage numbers will be displayed.
