How to Get Ceramic Composite in The First Descendant

In The First Descendant, there is an entire encyclopedia of materials in the game. They all have their uses, but Ceramic Composite is the most useful. It is one of the most sought-after materials in the game, and here’s how to get Ceramic Composite in The First Descendant.

Where to buy ceramic composites in The First Descendant

First Descendant of the White Canyon Ceramic Composite Ammo Box

Ceramic Composite only drops from one location, the Canyon of the Night. It is fairly far down the main quest chain, so you’ll have to progress until you unlock that area. Once you’ve unlocked the Canyon of the Night, you can find Ceramic Composite by:

  • White Night Canyon (Normal and Hard) – Resource Box
  • Daybreak Canyon (Normal and Hard) – Ammunition

These are very specific, but these resource crates and ammo capsules will spawn throughout the area. Ammo will spawn near cliffs, obstacles, and terrain, so you’ll have to look to the side when looking for them. Resource crates are very random, but you can easily identify them because they’re these bright orange boxes. Once you find them, you can shoot or smash them with a melee attack.

Ammo and resource boxes do not always contain Ceramic Composites. Based on experience, you may get more Flectorite than Ceramic Composites. However, they seem to be of the same rarity, so this may just be based on luck. If you need thousands of Ceramic Composites, you will spend hours running around in the White Night Canyon. The good thing is that you will get some Flectorite and other materials while farming.

I recommend doing other activities in the White Night Canyon, so you can at least kill two birds with one stone. You can unlock Special Operations, and ammo and resource boxes will still spawn during Operations. You can also get some Amorphous Material Patterns with this farming strategy to get more materials.
