How to Get Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk? Attributes of Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet were released in November 2022 and are part of the popular Pokémon video game series on Nintendo Switch. These games mark the beginning of the ninth generation and take place in the region of Pardia, offering players an open world environment inspired by the Iberian Peninsula.

In these games, players can embark on three different storylines and encounter 110 new Pokémon, including unique regional forms and Paradox Pokémon from different eras.

A special ability called the “Terastal Phenomenon” allows Pokémon to transform into unique “Tera types.” While praised for their open-world design and storyline, the games received mixed reviews due to graphical issues, technical glitches upon release, and complex gameplay systems.

Despite the criticism, they achieved huge sales, selling over 10 million copies in three days, setting a Nintendo record and reaching 23.23 million copies sold by September 2023.

How to get Clever in Pokémon Crimson and Violet: Indigo Disc?

Finding Kleavor: Kleavor is a Bug/Rock-type Pokémon that can be encountered in the Indigo Disk expansion pack. It is a rare spawn found only in the Canyon biome. To find Clevo, trainers need to look for a specific mountain decorated with unique black obsidian shards that protrude from the rock. Kleavor will only spawn on top of this mountain, so keen observation and patience are crucial. Due to its rarity, Kleavor may require multiple attempts to appear.

Evolution of the Scythe: Unlike Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Ancient Scythe can be evolved into Krivo using the Black Orgrit item, an evolution method not available in Pokémon Crimson and Violet. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to obtain Black Auguret in Generation 9. Therefore, trainers cannot directly evolve Scyther into Kleavor in the game.

Alternative Acquisition: For trainers who do not have access to the Indigo Disk DLC, Kleavor can be obtained by trading with other players or through Pokémon Home.

NOTE: While the School Shop in Blueberry Academy’s Indigo Disk expansion offers a variety of evolution items that can be purchased using BP (Battle Points), these items do not include the Black Ogurite required for Scyther to evolve into Kleavor.

Attributes of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk Clairvaux

1. Type combination:

  • Kleavor falls into the Bug/Rock genre, giving it unique strengths and weaknesses derived from these dual types.

  • This combination provides a variety of resistances and weaknesses, making it versatile in combat.

2. Appearance:

  • Kleavor’s design resembles Scyther’s ancient ancestors, displaying a rugged and primitive appearance.

  • Its physical structure likely reflects an evolutionary adaptation of ancient water-loving Pokémon.

3. Skills and actions:

  • Kleavor is expected to have a range of Bug and Rock type moves, which may include attacks such as Stone Edge, X-Scissor, Rock Slide, and other Bug and Rock type move features.

  • Its abilities may be catered to its bug/stone type, possibly providing traits that enhance its attack capabilities or grant it additional resistances.

4. Rarity and location:

  • The Kleavor is a rare spawn found only in the Rift biome of the Indigo Disk expansion.

  • Its scarcity and specific spawning conditions make encountering Krivo a challenging task for trainers, requiring patience and observational skills.

5. Connections to Emerald Region:

  • As an ancient Hisuian Pokémon, Clairvaux’s appearance in Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk expansion serves as a link to the ancient history and diversity of the Pokémon world, possibly hinting at the region’s rich lore and heritage.

6. Scyther cannot evolve:

  • Unlike Cleaver in Pokémon Legends: Arceus who evolved from an ancient scythe using the Black Orgrit item, this method of evolution does not exist in Scarlet and Violet. Therefore, it is not possible to obtain Clevo via scythe evolution in this generation.

In Pokémon Crimson and Violet’s Indigo Disc DLC, Metal Alloy is an evolution item introduced specifically to evolve Duraludon into Acharudon. This special item can be purchased at the Alliance Club Store (also known as the School Store), located at Blueberry Academy within the DLC.

To obtain Metal Alloy, players need to complete the DLC’s storyline until reaching a point where they can freely explore. After meeting Carmine and having free time after arriving at the dormitory, head to the Alliance Club Shop in Blueberry Academy.

In the Alliance Club Shop, players can purchase metal alloys for 300 BP (blueberry points). This item is crucial for evolving Duraludon into its evolved form, Archaludon, thus increasing its strength and relevance in the game’s current meta. BP is required to purchase items from the store and can be obtained by completing various tasks assigned in class.

Therefore, Metal Alloy is featured in the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as a key evolution item specifically used to evolve Duraludon into Archaludon, helping to expand the game’s gameplay strategies and possibilities.
