Amnesia: The Bunker is a horror game in which you play as Henri Clement, a French soldier during World War I. Henry is trapped in an underground bunker with a mysterious monster named “The Beast” hunting him. To survive, Henry must keep the bunker powered on, scavenge for resources, and collect ammunition randomly placed around the bunker. He can use weapons such as revolvers and shotguns to fight enemies, but he doesn’t have much ammo available.

The bunker is usually dark, and Henry is given a watch that shows when the generator runs out of fuel. If the fuel runs out, the bunker will go completely black and monsters will actively try to capture Henry.
