How to get roots in Lego Fortnite?
In LEGO Fortnite, finding knotted roots is crucial to upgrading your village and crafting better weapons and tools. Here is a simple guide on how to obtain knotroot:
Step One: Explore the Cave
Knotroot grows in caves, so start by exploring the game world until you encounter a cave. Please note the location of the cave on the map.

Step 2: Identify the knotted roots
Once inside the cave, look for gnarly roots growing through the walls and ceiling. These roots are the nodal roots you are looking for. If the knotted roots are out of reach, collect regular wood and use it to build the stairs.
Step 3: Get a rare forest ax
To collect the knotted root or damage it, you need an uncommon forest ax or better yet. To craft a rare forest axe, you need 3 bones (obtained by defeating skeletons) and 3 sticks (produced in the lumber mill).
Step Four: Make Useful Items
Knotroot acts as a gateway resource, unlocking new tiers of items. Utilize knotted sticks from the lumber mill to craft necessary items, such as a rare pickaxe for mining marble or a rare longsword for fighting enemies.
