Tyran in Pandora’s Avatar Frontier and meet him on top of the cliff
Tyran is a young Na’vi from the Salentu tribe in “Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier”. In the game, he plays an important role in the story and interacts with the player character on various occasions. One of the key features of the game are ancestral skills, and to unlock them players need to find special plants in the world of Pandora. Before that can happen, however, it’s crucial to complete the Song of the Ancestors quest, which includes meeting Taylan at the top of the cliff.

The mission is not as simple as it seems, as reaching the top of the cliff at Salentu Ground is a challenge. If players are having trouble finding the right path, here’s a simple guide on how to easily meet Taylan and the other members of Sarentu on the clifftop in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier.

How to meet Tyran on top of the cliff in Pandora’s Avatar Frontier?
To meet Tyran on top of the cliff in Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier, follow these steps:
Complete the Pneumatic Tower Echo mission:
- After completing the quest Echo of the Pneumatic Tower, you will receive a new quest called “Song of the Ancestors.”
Heading northwest:
- From the Aero Tower Echo, head northwest. The destination can be seen in the distance, with pink plants.
Use fast travel or guided mode:
- If you’re unsure of your direction, you can use fast travel to reset your position, or if playing in Guided Mode, use Na’vi Senses to locate targets represented by blue flames.
Arriving at the Salentu venue:
- Make your way out of the Aero Tower Echo Zone until you enter the pink forest marked “Sarentu Grounds”. Look for the orange, round creatures flying around.
Find the pink fungus staircase:
- Follow the flying creature until you find a tree with a staircase-like structure of pink fungus.
Climb to the high ground:
- Go up the fungus staircase and circle around the tree until you reach higher ground. The path will lead to a puddle.
Navigating watering holes:
- Once you find a puddle, either slide down the gap above the water or jump around the edge of the cliff.
Meet Tailan on the cliff:
- Continue along the path to the cliff where there is a beautiful pink flower. Tyran will be there, and you have successfully reached the top of the cliff to complete the Song of the Ancestors quest.
Unlock the ancestral skill – Air Boost:
- As a reward for completing the mission, you’ll unlock an ancestral skill called “Air Boost.” This skill allows your Na’vi character to jump to greater heights in mid-air.
Explore Tasu Flowers:
- Throughout the open world, find Tarsyu flowers to unlock more ancestral skills. Press the “Show on map” button to find these flowers. Note that some may be located in contaminated areas, requiring you to destroy nearby RDA facilities.
Tarsyu Sapling’s skill points:
- Look for Tasu saplings to touch and gain skill points. These smaller Tarsyu contribute less, but still enhance the Na’vi’s abilities.
