How to switch weapons in Diablo 4?
To modify a specific skill, toggle by switching, on PC, by pressing the middle mouse button to cycle through the various weapons for that skill. Console players can follow a similar process by assigning skills to the hotbar, and there will be an associated input to cycle through the available weapons.
In Diablo 4, when playing as a barbarian and fighting the forces of evil, matching the right weapon with the corresponding skill goes beyond mere visual preference. This not only increases strategic depth but also enhances tactical flexibility. This is one of many improvements being made to the game, indicating that players will have the opportunity to further personalize their builds when the game fully launches in a few months.

Switching weapons in Diablo 4, especially the Barbarian’s weapons, can be confusing for both new and experienced players. There is no dedicated key for manual weapon exchange. Instead, the weapons you use in combat are largely determined by the skills you have equipped.
Barbarians have the ability to equip four different weapons at the same time. There is one slot dedicated to two-handed bludgeoning weapons, two slots for dual-wielding one-handed weapons, and another slot for two-handed slashing weapons.
Each barbarian skill has its own weapon requirements. For example, the Frenzy skill requires dual-wielding weapons. Therefore, when you activate Frenzy, your Barbarian will automatically dual-wield weapons.
If a skill is listed as requiring any full arsenal weapon, that means two-handed bludgeoning weapons, dual-wield one-handed weapons, and two-handed slashing weapons are all compatible with that skill. By default, your barbarian will use the weapon best suited for the task at hand. However, you can choose to manually select the weapon you want your barbarian to switch to when using a specific skill.

How to save Diablo 4?
In order to salvage unused gear, players need to visit a blacksmith in one of the major cities in Diablo 4. During the Diablo 4 Server Slam Test, players can visit Zivek, the blacksmith, located in the heart of Kivashaad, right next to the city’s weapons and armor shop. However, please note that this location can only be accessed after the game’s prologue is completed.
When interacting with the blacksmith, navigate to the top tab on his vendor screen to access the Salvage menu. In this menu you will find several options:
- All Trash: This option allows you to recycle all gear in your inventory that has been manually marked as Trash.
- Common: Selecting this option will recycle all common (white) items in your inventory.
- Magic: Select this option to salvage all magic (blue) items in your inventory.
- Rare: By selecting this option you can salvage all rare (yellow) items in your inventory.
- All items: This option enables you to salvage all items in your inventory, except Legendary (orange) items.
By taking advantage of these options, players can effectively recycle unused gear and manage their inventory in Diablo 4.
