In multiplayer, Modern Warfare 2 will include all 16 maps at launch. Players can vote for maps in the lobby, and they will have slightly higher health and longer time to kill. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Plot
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s campaign story takes place after the events of Modern Warfare II. The game’s locations include fictional locations such as Verdansk, Kastovia, and Urzikstan. The main villain is the ultranationalist terrorist Vladimir Makarov. Task Force 141, led by characters such as Captain John Price, Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, and Sergeant John “Soap” McTavish, are the main heroes. Players will also play a role in Makarov’s private military company, the Konni Group.
Zombies takes place in Urzikstan in 2021, after the events of Modern Warfare (2019) and nearly 40 years after the end of the Cold War in Black Ops. Characters in the story include Russian arms dealer Viktor Zakhaev and former Special Forces Captain Sergei Ravenov, who has experience dealing with zombies. The story also introduces new characters, such as Jack Fletcher from private military company Terminus Outcomes, and Selma Green, who led the CIA program “Operation Deathbolt” after the outbreak of the Cold War.
