Iman Asante Shumpert (born June 26, 1990) is a retired American professional basketball player who rose to fame after being selected by the New York Knicks with the 17th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. Originally from Berwyn, Illinois, Shumpert attended Oak Park and River Forest high schools before playing college basketball at Georgia Tech from 2008 to 2011.

During his NBA career from 2011 to 2019 and his brief return in 2021, Shumpert showcased his skills as a shooting guard and small forward. Notably, he reached the pinnacle of success in 2016 when he won the NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition to his basketball accomplishments, Shumpert also showcased his versatility by winning Dancing With the Stars Season 30 in 2021, teaming up with professional dancer Daniela Karagach.
