The 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL 17), also known as TATA IPL 2024, is the 17th edition of the Twenty20 cricket league overseen by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Ten teams competed in 74 matches held in 13 cities across India from March 22 to May 26, 2024. Chennai hosted the opening and final matches. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans to claim their fifth title of the season.
