Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by SEGA, Yakuza: Infinite Fortune is the ninth mainline game in the Yakuza series. As a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon (2020) and the spin-off Yakuza Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (2023), the game tells the story of Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu.

Set in an all-new setting, the series ventures to Hawaii while retaining familiar Japanese settings. Players will guide Kasuga and Kiryu through their challenges as Kasuga seeks to reunite with her mother and Kiryu struggles to cope with the pain of lung cancer.

In Trails of Dragon’s Trails: Unlimited Fortunes, players will guide Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu and their crew through Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama and the city of Honolulu in Hawaii. Kamurocho, which appeared in previous Trails of Dragon’s Trails games, is also part of the adventure.

The Poundmates summoning system returns, featuring characters like Shun Akiyama and Kaoru Sayama. Familiar mini-games like karaoke, darts, and mahjong also return, as do arcade games like Virtua Fighter 3tb, Sega Bass Fishing, and SpikeOut.

Infinite Fortune introduces new mini-games like Crazy Delivery, a food delivery game inspired by Sega’s Crazy Taxi; Sujimon Battle, a Pokémon parody; and Miss Match, Kasuga’s dating app. The main side activity is Happy Vacation Island Dondoko, where Kasuga manages his vacation island through tasks like resource gathering, crafting, and social interaction.
