Limbus Company Tier List December 2023

linbus co.

Limbus Company is an indie horror role-playing video game that runs on Microsoft Windows and mobile devices (iOS and Android). Developed and published by Korean studio Project Moon, it launches globally on February 26, 2023. The game takes place in a dystopian hypercapitalist realm called “The City”, sharing the setting with other Project Moon works such as Lobotomy, The Library, Ruina, and the webcomic Leviathan. . Although it takes place some time after the events in these stories, the Limbus Company maintains continuity.

Featuring gacha elements, players can use real money to gain access to madness (the in-game currency) or tickets to gain the identity of a new sinner and his or her Eliminating Geometric Organ (EGO). The additional funding will be critical to funding and exploring new Moonshot games, including an upcoming “third-person action role-playing game” set in the city. Director Kim Ji-hoon highlighted this model during the Q&A session as an effort to fund new projects and maintain player engagement through live service games between major releases.

Limbus Company Gameplay

In Limbus Company’s gameplay, players choose up to seven of 12 sinners (excluding Dante) to fight, carefully balancing advantages and disadvantages. Choices include the identity of the sinner and the associated self for each battle. Duplicate identities or self-awareness are not allowed. Normal combat involves dragging the pointer through circles representing the Sinner’s attacks, forming chains or selecting the most appropriate attack.

Against bosses or anomalies, players strategically assign Sinner’s attacks to specific enemies or body parts, with results determined by a coin toss that can increase or maintain power levels. Sanity points (SP) affect the luck of the coin toss.

Players can choose to use the sinner’s self in place of normal attacks, which requires accumulating “sins” from regular attacks. Sinners with low SP may activate the powerful but uncontrollable “Corruption” EGO dungeon map, which adds complexity and requires planning a strategic route to the final boss without the ability to automatically heal between battles.

Some rooms require decisions to be made, usually involving an attack by the Sinner to navigate safely. Limbus Company’s gameplay emphasizes tactical choice, resource management, and strategic thinking.
