The best in IPL history is that NB Singh from Gujarat Lions tops the list with an extraordinary economic rate of 3.75. He played only two games in 2017, played four games, and only 15 games.

DJ Thornelly represented the Mumbai Indians in 2008, followed by 5.71. In six games, he played seven games, hit 40 runs and scored three wickets.
