Estonia’s Sahil Chauhan holds the record for the fastest century in T20 international cricket. On June 17, 2024, he scored 27 goals against Cyprus.

The previous fastest century record was set by Jan Nicole Lofty Eaton of Namibia. On February 27, 2024, he scored his century against Nepal with 33 goals.
David Miller, Rohit Sharma and S Wickramasekara jointly hold the record for scoring the fastest ever T20I century. Three of them have scored a century in just 35 balls in T20I matches.

The first T20I match was held on February 17, 2005 at Eden Park, Auckland, between Australia and New Zealand. Australia defeated New Zealand by 44 runs while Australian captain Ricky Ponting scored 98 not out.
Highlights:
1. In the first ICC World Twenty20 in 2007, Chris Gayle scored his first hundred (117) in the T20 international format against South Africa.
2. Australia’s Aaron Finch holds the record for the highest score in the T20I format (172).
3. David Miller, Rohit Sharma and S Wickramasekara scored the fastest centuries in T20 in just 35 balls each.
4. Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and New Zealand’s Colin Munro each achieved 3 centuries.
5. Only three Indian players have scored at least 100 runs in the T20I format so far, namely Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
6. Hazratullah Zazai (Afghanistan) is the youngest century player in the T20I format (20 years and 337 days).
7. Suryakumar Yadav became India’s second-fastest scorer on Saturday when he scored his third century in just 45 balls against Sri Lanka in Rajkot Hundreds of goals in T20Is.
