Hurun Research Institute, a global research firm known for its annual rich lists, especially the Hurun India Rich List, has released a list of the top 10 cities in India with the most billionaires. The list includes cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.

Here is a list of the top 10 cities in India with the most billionaires in 2024. These cities are home to some of the richest people in the country, with Mumbai topping the list as the city with the highest number of billionaires.

Mumbai has now become the capital of billionaires, surpassing the Chinese capital Beijing. In addition, according to the Hurun Rich List 2024, Mumbai is the richest city with a total of 92 billionaires living there.

Compared to last year’s Hurun Rich List 2023, Mumbai still maintains its position as one of the cities with the largest number of billionaires. Here is a comparison of the two years:

From 2020 to now, the number of Mumbai billionaires on the list has surged, increasing from 217 to 386 in just four years.

Also, the number of billionaires in New Delhi increased by 89 from 128 to 217. But 68 of them qualify for the title. Similarly, the number of billionaires in Hyderabad increased from 50 to 104. But 18 of them qualify for the title.
