John and Anna begin therapy as they investigate several incidents at Anna’s school. As time passes, Anna becomes more and more flirtatious with John. John learns that Ana had a sexual relationship with her photography teacher, Tom Ortega. Ortega, who is currently in jail, claims Ana framed him.

Anna and John remember an incident at school involving a girl named Musi. Several of Anna’s classmates deny the existence of rats, but Anna eventually shows John a photo of herself and a rat. John also saw memories of Anna being molested by her stepfather Sebastian. Sebastian denies the accusation, but John is skeptical.
John later discovered that Anna’s memory of the mouse was inaccurate. He receives an urgent call from Anna and he rushes to her house. When John arrives, he finds Anna’s parents murdered. He was arrested by the police, who believed him to be the murderer.

John was jailed, but was later released when another viewer revealed that Anna had manipulated her memory to frame John. Anna faked her death in order to escape her parents and start a new life. The film ends with John being released from prison and starting a new life with Judith.

Anna’s stepfather wanted to send her to a mental hospital, but her mother and Anna herself were firmly opposed. John is sent to end her hunger strike and determine whether she is a sociopath or a trauma victim. John began therapy with Anna, focusing on her time at a prestigious girls’ school and several incidents that occurred there.
