1. Rohit Sharma | 5 hundreds
Rohit Sharma is a brilliant Indian batsman and T20 World Cup winning captain with 5 centuries in T20I matches. He has scored 4,231 runs in 159 games, the highest among any T20Is player, with an average of 32.05 and a strike rate of 140.89.
Rohit’s first T20I century was a 66-ball 106 against South Africa in Dharamshala in October 2015, although India lost by 7 wickets.
He also holds the record for India’s fastest T20I century, hitting 10 sixes and 12 fours with 35 tons against Sri Lanka in Indore in 2017. His other centuries came against England, West Indies and Afghanistan.
2. Suryakumar Yadav | 4 Hundreds
Suryakumar Yadav followed with 4 centuries in 72 innings. His first T20I century came against England in July 2022, when he made a dogged 117 runs in 55 balls, although India lost by 17 runs.
His fastest century came in January 2023, when he scored a stunning hundred in just 45 balls against Sri Lanka in a crushing 91-run victory. He also scored centuries against New Zealand and South Africa.
3. Sanzhou Samson | 3 hundred
Sanju Samson has three T20I centuries to his name. His first century came in October 2024 with a mighty 47-ball 111 against Bangladesh, leading India to a mammoth total of 297/6.
In November 2024, Samson scored 107 off 50 balls against South Africa in Durban, helping the team to a 61-run victory. Later in the same month, he scored an unbeaten 109 off 56 balls in Johannesburg.
4. Rahul, Kuala Lumpur | 2 Hundreds
KL Rahul has two T20I centuries. His first game was against the West Indies in 2016, an unbeaten 110 off 51 balls, falling just one run behind.
His second Test came against England in Manchester in July 2018, leading India to victory in eight matches. Remarkably, he missed neither game.
5. Tilak Varma | 2 hundreds
Tilak Varma soon made his mark with two centuries in T20Is. His first wicket came in 2024 against Ireland, smashing 120 off 55 balls, demonstrating his ability to control the innings while accelerating the scoring.
