Steam’s June 2024 edition of Next Fest has concluded, and one of the most popular games is making waves around the world. Once Human topped the list of the most popular demos during Steam Next Fest June 2024, and it seems everyone is looking forward to its release in late July.

One of the latest survival games to join the genre is Once Human. Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a strange post-apocalyptic future. The game is basically a dystopian version of Rust with upgraded features and a heavy dose of Resident Evil vibes. It officially became the most played demo at Steam Next Fest June 2024. Now, that’s an amazing achievement that developers can be happy about.

While there’s no telling how many players are enjoying Once Human, or what aspects of it players are enjoying, it’s safe to say that everyone loves another good survival game. After all, we had the chance to play Once Human in a playtest not too long ago, and it was a lot of fun. Once Human has massive servers that you can play with friends or on your own, where you can fight monsters, build bases, go on raids, participate in PvE and PVP games, and even take part in world events. Similarly, we imagine what Rust would be like if it added monsters and zombie-like creatures.
The best part is it’s coming soon. If you’ve played the demo, or haven’t played it yet but are intrigued by Once Human, the game is coming soon. Once Human is coming to Steam on July 9, 2024, so be sure to mark your calendars.
