- US: Chill’s passive skill, which increases her secondary fire damage against slowed targets, is being removed.

- More cover has been added to the attacker’s initial spawn point, making it more difficult for the defender to enter the spawn camp.
- The first checkpoint door now only partially closes upon arrival, giving attackers more options when advancing to the following chokepoints.
- Some cover at the final point was removed to make it easier for defenders to defend against offensive pushes.
Sombra reworked:
One of the most notable changes for Season 7 is Sombra’s rework. Blizzard hopes to address the frustration some players feel facing her and make her gameplay more engaging while maintaining her hacker identity. Here’s a simplified overview of the changes:
- Opportunist (Passive): Removed.
- Stealth: Now a passive skill that automatically makes Sombra invisible and faster when she is not taking or dealing damage.
- Teleporter: Teleports Sombra immediately upon landing and reduces her invisibility cooldown after teleportation.
- New Ability – Virus: A projectile that deals damage over time, dealing faster damage to hacked enemies.
In addition to these changes, it’s worth noting that Roadhog will be receiving a rework in Season 7’s mid-season patch. Blizzard’s goal is to improve his ability to protect allies and create space while reducing his emphasis on chain-hit potential with hooks/scrap guns. Stay tuned for full patch notes and more details on these exciting changes coming to Overwatch 2 Season 7 once Blizzard officially releases them.

Overwatch 2 is a popular first-person shooter game produced by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the sequel to the beloved 2016 game Overwatch. The game is designed to provide a shared gaming experience, with a primary focus on player versus player (PvP) mode. However, it initially planned to introduce a persistent cooperative game mode. Unfortunately, these co-op plans were canceled in 2023, and the main focus of the game returned to the PvP elements.
One of the big changes to Overwatch 2’s PvP mode is the reduction in team sizes. Earlier, the team had six players but now it consists of five members. This change is intended to create a more dynamic and intense gaming experience. In addition, several major characters in the game have been redesigned to improve balance and gameplay.
Overwatch 2 is free to play on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It was originally released in Early Access on October 4, 2022, and features full cross-platform play, allowing players from different platforms to compete against each other. On August 10, 2023, Blizzard removed the early access tag of the game and officially released the game.
