Hero Mastery Mode
-
Completing the Hero Mastery course at the gold bonus level will now award bonus points based on how quickly you complete the course. This bonus point is awarded based on the time difference between your time and the Gold bonus level to the nearest tenth of a second. This new bonus time can be viewed in the Finish Line Bonus tooltip on the course summary screen. This change will affect all future Hero Mastery classes and should make global leaderboards for each class more competitive.

Unlike its predecessor, Overwatch 2 is a free-to-play game, which changes the way players obtain in-game items, moving from loot boxes to a battle pass system and in-game store. The game also features cross-platform progression, which means you can carry your progress and cosmetics between different devices.

“Overwatch 2” gameplay
Overwatch 2 is a game where players can choose from 35 characters, each with unique abilities. These roles are divided into damage dealers, support heroes, and tank heroes. The game mainly focuses on player versus player (PvP) battles across various modes and maps.
One big change is that teams now consist of five players instead of six, to speed up the game and reduce complexity. The map is designed with more bunkers to balance the reduction in the number of tank heroes. Additionally, injured heroes move faster, support heroes regenerate health slowly, and tank heroes are more aggressive.

The game introduces a new PvP mode called “Push”, where teams compete to move bots to the opponent’s side of the map. Some older maps are no longer part of Standard Mode, but can still be played in Custom Games. Overwatch 2 also provides a ping system for better teamwork. Cosmetics can be obtained through the battle pass system, and new heroes can be rewarded through the battle pass’s free tiers.
Overwatch 2 plot
Overwatch 2 continues the story of the original game, further advancing the storyline and narrative. The game introduces story-based PvE missions starting with Season 6, which will be released in August 2023. These missions help tell the story of the Overwatch universe and require players to complete various objectives.
The game also introduces Hero Mastery quests for specific heroes to help players improve the skills of those characters. These missions are part of the game’s ongoing narrative and gameplay updates, giving players more ways to experience the world and characters of Overwatch.
