During yesterday’s fantastic Nintendo Direct, Square Enix provided updates on several of its games, including Romancing SaGa 2: Seven Revenge, a complete remake of the classic JPRG. It’s coming to multiple platforms as well as PC, and we’re excited to see Square Enix do more with JRPGs over the years. With the Steam page open, we got our first look at the technical aspects, including the system requirements for Romancing SaGa 2: Seven Revenge.

Just like Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remaster, this remaster isn’t very demanding. If you want to play the game at 1080p on high settings with a target 60 FPS, you’ll need something like a Ryzen 5 1400 paired with a GTX 1060. Both of these products are basically outdated at this point, and most PC users shouldn’t have much of a problem with them.

In addition to this, you will need 30 GB of free space and 8 GB of RAM is recommended.
Even on lower-end hardware like the GTX 950, the game can maintain 30 FPS at 1080p.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven Platforms
Romancing SaGa 2: Seven Vengeance will be available on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It skips the Xbox platform.

If you pre-order Romancing SaGa 2: Seventh Revenge, you will receive the Cat’s Amulet and Shiwon’s Tactics Primer.
Here are descriptions of the items:
- Cat’s Amulet: An amulet crafted by a famous thief. Increases income from victorious battles by 10% during the first imperial year of the game.
- Shiyuan’s Tactics Introduction: A book that records the wisdom of a brilliant military strategist. In the first Imperial Year of the game, Tech Points awarded for victorious battles are increased by 10%.
These items can be obtained from the treasure chest on the lower level of Avalon Castle. These items are exclusive to the pre-order bonus.
